TAKS (2007-08) Students and each student group meeting minimum size: African American Hispanic White Econ. Disadvantage	Meets each standard: Reading/ELA – 70% Writing – 65% Social Studies – 65% Mathematics – 50% Science – 45%	Meets 75% standard for each subject or meets floor criteria and required improvement	Meets 90% standard for each subject

TAKS testing dates and retest dates are listed below:

Grade 5 – March 5th - Reading
Grade 4 – March 5th – Writing

Grade 5 – April 8th – Mathematics

Grades 3-4 – April 29th - Mathematics
Grade 6 – April 29th – Mathematics

Grade 4 – April 30 – Reading
Grade 6 – April 30 – Reading
Grade 5 – April 30th – Reading (retest)

Grade 5 – May 1st – Science

Grade 5 – May 13th – Mathematics (retest)
Grade 5 – May 15th – All Mathematics TAKS testing must be complete by this date.

Grade 5 – July 1st – Mathematics (retest)

Grade 5 – July 2nd – Reading (retest)
