Dear Parents and Students of Dr. Harmon W. Kelley Elementary,

 

Welcome to Kelley Elementary School, where understanding every student’s needs is our undertaking and addressing those needs is our goal. I want to extend a warm welcome to all of our students and their families. I genuinely hope your years at Kelley Elementary will prove to be one of your child’s happiest school experiences.

 

The success of our school program depends upon the two-way communication and a cooperative team approach between the school and home. To facilitate two-way communication we use the student “backpack” mail system. It is important to check the child’s backpack regularly for homework, notes, menus, FYI Newsletters and announcements of community happenings. I know that working together we can provide the very best educational opportunities for your children.

 

On behalf of the Kelley staff, I would like to extend an invitation for you to visit our school, attend your child’s programs and become an active member of the PTC and volunteer program. We are looking forward to another rewarding and productive school year at Kelley Elementary.

 

We are dedicated to making Kelley Elementary a secure place to come to school. Therefore, we ask all visitors and volunteers to stop at the office to sign our daily register and receive a Visitor’s badge to wear while visiting the school.   Please feel free to call upon us to help your child receive the most constructive academic and social experience possible.
